"Danger Zante" model leaked via EXIF data?
We love when rogue software installations and EXIF information end up giving away upcoming and unreleased wireless handset models. The latest entry: a photo on Flickr that showed off its EXIF data as having been taken by a "Danger Zante." Now, as far as we know, the "Zante" may be a codename for an upcoming Hiptop model -- possibly the Sidekick X from T-Mobile. But alas, the images were pulled from Flickr so no more closeup examination. If anyone has deets on what the Zante is all about, drop us a line.

EXIF data can edited. Also, I dont know about a POS camera phone even having EXIF data embedded? Or, is it on all cameras regardless?

Yes- My photos when uploaded to Flickr show them as having been taken with a "Vodafone 904T" (or did it mention Toshiba?). The point is that regardless of camera the EXIF data is there.

He means like way back when iTunes 7 came out (I think 7 anyway) it mentioned syncing with a "Apple TV" and had referrences to a phone but noone knew why and from that we speulated that it was for some new devices apple was making and it turned out to be true.
